Take me Home, Country Roads (runways actually).
The end of August marked a trip home to Virginia, with a whirl through West Virginia.
Mimi, Papa, and I took the boys to The Hands on Museum in Johnson City. They had a ball, we could probably have spent hours upon hours there (as long as we could eat at some point!) Although Mimi and Papa raved about how improved it was, it was pretty much exactly how I remembered it. The noah's ark with real (stuffed) animals, the canal lock system, a big slide through the coal mine, and grocery store were always favorites of mine.

We headed up to West Virginia to see my grandmother and then visited with family at my uncle's farm. Uncle Mike took us for a hayride-it was awesome!!! It was the perfect day except that Kurt wasn't with us.
Joshua has a second cousin that was born within a week of him. It's always fun to snap pictures of them together. We capped of the trip with a small 30th birthday BBQ given by Dad and Ellen. It was so fun to catch up with good friends!!! I felt so blessed by a fun evening.
